Introducing ForgeDeck

The ForgeDeck team · 1 min read

Coding agents got good. Running many of them did not. You end up with a dozen terminal tabs, half-remembered branches, and no idea which agent touched what.

ForgeDeck is the command center we wanted: a local-first desktop app that treats agents like a fleet. Tasks on a board, agents on panes, every run in its own Git worktree, and a review step before anything merges.

Local-first, no telemetry

Everything runs on your machine. Your code, your keys, your terminals. We send no telemetry — the cloud is opt-in and only powers sync, hosted MCP, cloud voice, and signed updates.

What's in the first release

  • A terminal grid (1–16 panes) with profiles for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, and Cursor.

  • Kanban tasks wired to isolated Git worktrees, with diff review and merge.

  • Markdown-first memory with secret redaction, plus Obsidian notes.

  • A localhost MCP server, and an optional hosted gateway.

It's built on Tauri 2 with a Rust backend — fast, small, and native.

Download ForgeDeck and spin up your first deck.
